My hair story
I have naturally fine, fuzzy, wavy hair. I have been bleaching it for around 4 years already. My hair was dry and damaged even before I bleached it because I used to use hair straightener a few times per week for years. Of course, I used heat protection, but it does not help you much when you use heat styling every other day, especially when your hair is naturally fine, dry, and porous.
I stopped using hair straighteners a year ago. Now I use it only on special occasions and try to avoid heat styling as much a possible.
I tried many different luxury hair care products, they made my hair look better and gave a softer feel, but I still needed something that could restore my hair from the inside out. I have been trying to grow my hair for the last three years, but it was so difficult, because the ends always looked like rat's tails, so I kept cutting it…
Olaplex experience
Recently I purchased Olaplex No. 0 and No. 3 from Utiee - beauty store. Honestly, when I applied these products for the first time I was a bit disappointed. I expected a miracle, but it did not happen. Yes, my hair became smoother, softer, and more manageable, but it did not make a big difference to my split dry ends.
I read quite a few different reviews about Olaplex products, especially No. 0 and No. 3. I found out that I am not the only one who did not see much difference at the beginning. How Olaplex will act depends on your hair damage level. Apparently, my hair is really damaged, so I decided to apply Olaplex overnight. I was pleasantly surprised in the morning! When I rinsed the product out my hair was soft like never before.
As you can see in the picture my hair became smoother, thicker, and healthier. The ends of my hair look way better! I was happy with the result.
How do I use Olaplex No. 0 and No. 3
Olaplex No. 0 is just like water. I apply it to dry dirty (or slightly wet) hair and leave it for 20 minutes. Then without rinsing it out I apply No. 3 for the entire length avoiding the roots and leave it for 30-40 minutes. Then I wash it off with shampoo and conditioner.
I would not recommend using Olaplex overnight all the time, 1-2 times per month will be enough. After an hour, the effectiveness of the products decreases, but they still work.
Conclusion
Even though I did not use Olaplex No. 1 and No. 2 during the bleaching process, I see a big advantage of using No. 0 and No. 3 and home. I see the difference in my hair and I believe that with Olaplex treatment I finally will be able to grow the hair.
